Bag More 4 Homeless

                                    

                                                     Bag More 4 Homeless was created in 2008.  

We are a group of dedicated young people, serving in our community by providing bagged lunches to those who are less fortunate than us. Meeting every Saturday at 9:00 am to pack bagged lunches, could not be accomplished with out the help of our Donators. The more donators give their time and money, we are able to put together more Bagged Lunches to take downtown, to Washington, DC for the Homeless. We started with fifty Bagged Lunches a week and now take 75 Bagged Lunches a week. This may not seem like a lot, but it shows progress and now twenty-five more people are not being turned away without something that shows somebody cares.

Each time our team runs out of bag lunches, we have to turn away some of the homeless people. Thats's a very hurtful emotion that comes over the team, to know we don’t have enough to feed people who truly need it. This is why we are asking for your help because nutrition is necessary for life.
